Coolermaster Hyperx

Yea its a good cooler. I,ve installed a few of them, not on the 775 but on AM2 and AM2+. I,m running the smaller Hyper TX now.

Hi Stranglehold,

thanks for replying,Im just concearned about the plastic vent thing on the back because i dont think there will be enough room between that and my rear exhaust fan :(

im not sure if that duct comes off?

I see what you mean with the TX model, your socket sits alittle closer to the edge. I dont (think) you would have a problem. And no you cant take the vent off, well you can but the whole thing is one piece, fan and all attached. I had mine broke down yesterday, if I had known I would have measured the distance from the center of the socket to the edge of the back vent. If you look at where my socket is, there is about 2 inches from the vent to my back fan. You would not have a problem with the 212 model.

yeah well with my AC7 pro theres about a 1.5 Inch gap from the exhaust fan so i think thats going to be a problem...damn theres always a stupid problem when it comes to pcs for me.

why cant they make the damn things simple lol :D

if that plastic vent was detachable then there wouldnt be any problems as i could just remove it. :(

If you just really wanted the TX model, its plastic so I guess you could snip off the edge if it touched:D. On the TX this gives a good idea of how far it sticks out and how it comes off in one piece.
