I need to cool my AMD FX-9370. It is constantly overheating with the fan I have currently. I want to install either a Swiftech H220-X or a NZXT Kraken X61.

Any opinions about which one might do the job better?

    What fan are you using?

I had the standard H220 for a while on my 8350 at 4.8 GHz. Seemed to keep it around 60C without too much effort.

Right now I have a Noctua NH-U9B SE2 37.9 CFM CPU Cooler. I can't even run my AMD FX-9370. I didn't realize it would run so hot, so I reinstalled my
AMD FX-6300 until I can get a better way to keep things cool.

Honestly, if I were you I'd just sell it for cash on Ebay. Those things are more trouble than their worth IMO, especially if you've already got a 6300. Two extra cores and a boat load of more heat are worth less than the 150-200 you could fetch on Ebay.

Yeah that FX-9370 would be better off sold before the new AMD chips come out. Once they are released, take a look at them to upgrade!
