Cooling fans for Dell XPS 8100?

As the title implies:

I have a Dell XPS 8100; had for a good year. Was thinking of replacing the fans, or at least some. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to go for?

I'm not particularly experienced with building/dismantling computers or pair specific components with each other, even though I'm good at using the machines per se.

Do all fans share the same standard fitting socket, or how do I know which fans to go for?

Input appreciated.
 
Of course not Rick. Your compatibility is for an LGA 1556 socket so you need to aim for a corsair, scythe, cooler master or similar which suits your top, side or back fan place.

case fans are measured in MM (eg: 80mm, 120mm, etc)...cpu fan/heatsink depend on cpu socket
