Cooling HD 4870X2

Hello,

I am buying HD 4870X2 and am quite desperate about the cooler which to choose. Any hints how to choose the right one? Or maybe own experience which cooler works fine in combination with this chip?

unless you're going to be watercooling it, you'll have to stick with the stock cooler, because there aren't any aftermarket air coolers that i know of for the 4870x2
 
You need to be careful of third party coolers, since most universal coolers are only for single-GPU video cards.
