cooling the Q6600

Is the stock fan good enough for the Q6600 with some mild OC'ing or should I get an aftermarket cooler? I already have some arctic 5 paste , what would you recommend? I've looked at the Zalaman 9500 but it looks like it would put a strain on the motherboard with the weight.

Yeah, go with the Zalman and AS5 paste, no strain on the motherboard, I have never heard of them breaking a mobo and god only knows how many ppl use them.

Your best bet would be the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme. It is a bit more expensive, but it is the king of all air coolers.
