k i was telling you guys about a co-op i was going to get, and the guy decided to turn me down, saying i lacked the proper skills. he was a network admin, so he went to college -.-! this is what we discussed and he told me before i left the store:

intels have always been better than amd, forever... dur he said p4>athlon

ati's 3d quality is better than nvidias, and the 2900 beats the 8800gtx in every aspect.

SLI on a 680i only yields a 30% performance gain gpu wise.

his 42" plasma (16:9) runs 1024/768(4:3), (not realizing the stretched image) is still better than my 22" samsung running proper res settings at native.

he said the AI in Far Cry is the best out of every game to date.

the antec smartpowers are also better than the corsair psus!

yeah true, each time i go into a debate, most times i'll be like : "hmm..intriguing" or "hmm..about it tell me" , like i'm not actually listening to all the crap the guy says then i'll say "oh yeah, can u repeat what u said ?"

i think this was the case. he was trying to explain how nvidia doesnt interlace the textures properly and blur them instead, saying they bought this tech off vodoo, aswell as sli. this is from like 10 years ago isnt?

Lol yeah I had a 32mb Vodoo card, think it was summin like a 100+ quid!

Also agree with the rest of the guys, ppl that go on about thinkin they know everything and they know best need a good slap, best way is to keep an open mind and look at the pros n cons side of things.
