copy and paste of folder not working in windows 10

Hello,

i just bought a new computer and i am trying to copy a folder from a usb stick to the appdata/roaming folder but it isnt working: it just does nothing at all when i press paste

if anyone has a way to fix this please tell me

Try putting it somewhere else on the pc first and then transfer it to that location. However, I'm not sure if you will have permission to put stuff in that location.
