I recently hooked my computer up to my flat screen and id like to copy my dvd collection on to my computer hard drive so i can just click and play and not have to go sorting threw the dvd books and switch out disks im lazy like that lol. Sorry if this breaks any of he forum rules but it would be nice to have my collection on my hard drive instead of books. Also im looking for the best free video quality.

Windows, by default, wont let you rip any DVD disks as they are copy-write. Itunes or any other media programe wont either so you may need to do some research into a software that will do this for you but I'm not going to suggest anything as it is against the law. Your best option may to be just to keep your DVD's as they are.

Sorry I havn't really been much help but there are software programes that will rip the DVD's I think but you just have to look around and check they aren't viral infected prgrames...just incase

DVD Decrypter will rip the DVD to the Computer. Easy to use.

DVD Shrink will allow you to re-author and shrink down the size of the File, but has a bit of learning curve.
