Copy error when copying in D:

Maybe this problem has been adressed in another thread, but be ensured that I searched for such a thing before making this thread.

I installed the trial version of Nero 6 recently and since I uninstalled it I can't copy files in my D: drive (to prepare a burning session). I keep getting the "Windows encountered an error while copying this file, what do you want to do?" with Retry or Cancel as options. Retrying, of course, only repeats the same error.

Any idea on how I can correct that so I can make use of my DVD burner again?

well im not a big fan of Windows default burning, if you want a good freeware prog for burning general things, get http://www.cdburnerxp.se/
it can also write to DVD-Rs too (it doesnt author video DVDs, just burns things to them like it would a CD)
