Copy from printer to computer digitally??

Hello,

I have a Canon mf4350d fax/printer/scanner combo that does not have the option of digitally printing and saving to my computer. Is there anyway around this? Would there be an option where I can possibly convert my printer or fax to save on the computer as pdf's or similiar? It sure takes a long time to scan the documents if you have a whole heap of them! I am trying to figure out a better way with the setup I have and I am not very computer savvy.

Thank you for any help at all!!

Good afternoon kcw983

You need a .pdf writer - this basically acts like a printer, when you go to File > Print, just select the .pdf writer, follow the prompts that come up and save it to your hard drive.

There are loads of these .pdf writers available for free. Try googling for some, or use the free one here.

So are you saying you have files saved on your computer that you would like to convert to PDF or paper (hard copy) documents that you want to save to PDF?

for the first you can do as dominicb said, for the other you have no other choice than to scan them all...
