Copy Music from iPod back to PC

I lost all my music on my computer but I had backed them up to my iPod. What's a good software to use to copy them back? I don't care if it's freeware or not. Help would be appreciated thank you!

I don't have an iPod nor iTunes, but can't iTunes do that for you? What format do you want them in after you transfer them to your computer?

All of mine are in MP3 on my iPod and I want to import them back to my computer as MP3. Unfortunately, iTunes only imports purchased songs.

Like I said, I don't have an iPod, but until someone else here jumps in with better answers, I can only try to help the best I can.

I googled and found this article. It lists several programs that will do what you want. Check them out. I don't know if they are free or not, but if they enable you to restore all your music, maybe you are willing to buy one of the programs. The list includes programs both for mac and pc.

Here is the link. Let me know how it turns out.

okay, you don't need any special programs, first you have to make sure you can see hidden files (control panel>appearance and themes>folder options>view>show hidden files and folders) then go to iPod in my computer, click on iPod_control then music. there are folders there called things like F00 and F01. just copy the contents of them into iTunes. it'll rename them correctly and you'll have all your music back.
