Ok, so i have this hard drive out of a "device". It is obviously not FAT or NTFS haha. I hooked it up to my computer (running windows 7, i also have a Linux machine if i would be better off using that). I went to computer management/storage/disk management and found my drive as Disk 5, it said 149.05gb unallocated, so I went in and assigned it a drive letter but did not format! Windows now "detects it" but says it needs to be formatted. I have tried opening a prompt and doing it from there but get "make sure this is not corrupted blah blah blah". Is there a way to copy the stuff off and look at it given these conditions?
