Copying .gif

I don't know where to post this, but my question is this:
I want to copy a .gif file that has movements, but when I use "right click"-"save as" and I try to open the file later, all that I see is a static image.

How can I get the complete file?

Where is the image? I would like to try it out myself. Are you using Firefoc by any chance because if you are you could install flashgot and a download manager (Free Version). It might help you to save it.

when you save them out are they GIF, you havent got JPEG for default in the save as window or summin ?

Try saving this:
platform3.gif

It saved (and displayed) perfectly well on my computer. Maybe it was a faulty connection (too much traffic on your internet connection) thus causing a bad download.

Weird.
It still won't work on my computer, but I tried uploading to imageshack and it was fine.
I think it may be a problem with Microsoft Photo Editor...

Oh, and the FlashGot isn't working. It won't find the download manager you gave me the link to, nor the other one I already had..

Microsoft Photo Editor won't display an animation like that...I don't think. Try opening the image file using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer instead :)

Yeah, I guess that's it.
I opened it with IE (the closes to my mouse at the time) and it worked fine.

Thanks!

Excellent, another problem solved. I hope you'll stick around and help the next person with that very same problem :D

Hehe...even Photoshop and other programs will only display the first image in the animation strip :)

JAN :D
