Is the extra $100 worth getting the E6600 vs the E6400?
I am planing to get the E6400 but don't know if the performance boost in the E6600 is worth the extra $100 (give and take).

On a side note, How can you tell what temp your computer is running at, do you have to download a program that tells you??

Personally I think it is worth it, since it has 4MB of L2 cache, and is clocked significantly higher. But if spending that extra $100 means sacrificing the video card, or other components, then I wouldn't do it.

I got the e6400 to save money and I am not disappointed with my decision, however, if you have the money, spend away...

Good site, really shows that OCing is an effective way to save money and get outstanding performance.
