Core 2 duo temps

Hey guys are these core 2 duo temps a little too high? My pc already shut itself down randomly when i was playing cs source once so i was a little worried.

Used speed fan and im getting average temps of 50-53 idle and 64 load.

Pc was not custom build its a hp.

those are too high. i think you should double check with another program too. and think about reapplying some thermal paste.

You can also raise your shutdown temp in BIOS to a higher setting, too. But yes, my supposedly 'hot' Pentium D idles at 32*C and sees loads at 40*C, so something is off with yours.

My E6750 idles at 28 degrees so yea it's a little on the high side

Do you have a case fan, If not get one!
