I have a core 2 Duo, and I am unable to overclock / underclock in the BIOS. What is the best program to overclock with?

Bit of both. I have upped the RAM, changed the hard disk, and changed the keyboard, but other than that, it is pre-built. It is the Toshiba Portégé M400, (PPM40e) (Laptop)

Not really a good idea to OC a laptop, if it's even possible.

laptops don`t having much cooling, unless you have a proper cooling station i wouldn`t even try it.

You may be able to overclock a tiny amount, but it will not even be noticeable.

Laptops are pretty much you got what you bought.

What if I want to underclock to save battery?
