To add on the other core?

Are you getting confused becaue the Intel ...features two independent processor cores...?

IF so, It's only one CPU, It'll just go in the socket on your motherboard...
 
im asking is do i have to do anything or is this motherboard already core 2 duo ready? or do i have to pay 500 dollars to add in another.

It'll go in the socket on your motherboard, It's only one CPU... Yes, It'll go in the motherboard you've picked out there :)

It'll go in any LGA775 socket motherboard.
 
The core 2 duo is one processor, just like a Pentium 4. It looks the same on the outside and it is installed exactly the same way.
