Core i7 Overclock pissing me off

So i built my core i7 system installed vista 64 bit and some programs and i got to overclocking right away. I have a good cpu cooler its a vigor monsoon III and at idle my pc is around 20C when running 3dmark06 its about 27-28C this cpu fan is massive and keeps my cpu very cool. I have the 920 i7 @ 2.66 and 2 gtx 260's. So the most ive been able to overclock stable is 3.10GHz. I try raising voltages,other options, and the evga x58 overclock guide. I cant get it higher than 3.10 and i kno it can go much higher. If anyone has any ideas i would like to hear them. The EVGA x58 is supposed to be a exellent baord to overclock on.

You will have the most luck there. Those guys live
and breathe the i7's and the X58 boards.

You will get more help than you know what to do with.

Make sure you post a BIOS template, because if you don't,
they'll ask anyway. lol
