Core Temp Won't Register

I've tried using a couple different programs and gadgets in Windows 7 Ultimate but my Athlon II x2 temp doesn't register. A couple days ago with XP I had no issues. Any ideas?

Might not be your cup of tea, but have you looked at CPUID 2010? when minimized it will give you core temps in a widget form. Not exactly "pretty" looking, but works with most (if not all) CPU types.

Thanks, I'll try it. The thing is, I had been using CoreTemp in xp and same program in 7 won't register a temp...odd?

LOL not my area of expertise. To me it sounds odd yes. Not sure of a fix though.

Are you by chance running your BIOS in some kind of Hybrid state? I know on my Gigabyte board I was using it and the temps wouldn't register.

No hybrid state that I know of. Just standard everything!
