Core Temps below 20C?

I recently got the Antec 900, which dropped my temps from 30C idle (according to core temp) to about 25C idle. I added a fan on the side of the case, and my temps dropped to about 18-19C idle!
Is this correct?
It's the middle of the summer so I'm kinda skeptical, but I have very amazing airflow in the upper area of the case so that could be why. Anyway, what's CF's input on this?

What kinda ambient temps? You might be able to achieve temps 3-4c above ambient at idle due to cool n quiet and whatnot with a decent aftermarket cooler though... 18c is what, 65f or so?

I think the ambient temps may be somewhere around there...
Maybe 65, 66 or so...

The temps might be right, the in die thermal sensors arent 100% accurate, so id guess your temps are prolly more like low 20's, but believable nonetheless.

Man I'm glad I bought this case!
Yeah I figured they'd probably be a little higher than it said, but I wasn't sure.
Thanks for the help.

quick q 4 u:
did antec fix the case in the back where the video card outputs now fit through the rear expansion slots?
there were some reports on the internet about this; i had to cut off a bit of mine to fit the video connector, just wondering.

Mine fits fine.
Of course, mine is a single slot, but I'm upgrading to a 4890 in the next couple of weeks so I'll let you know how that fits if you like.

Yeah, they fixed that a while back. If I'm not mistaken, it was only the very, very first Antec 900's to have that problem.
