corsair 650d vs 800d

Basically the size. Only reason you would need the 800D is for a water-cooled loop, eATX board, or you just like the extra room. And by extra room, I mean a ton of extra room. The 650D is more than enough for the average system.
 
800D is best for water cooling, 650D if on air cooling, 800D doesn't have front intake fans but 650D has.
I couldn't find much more difference than these, basically 650D is a small size 800D.
Totally depends if you are doing air cooling or water cooling.
 
The only difference is the size.

The whole "It doesn't work for air" isn't true at all, I'm able to overclock and have sub 35 temps on CPU and sub 55 on GPU on my 700D, which is the same case as the 800D, just minus the window and hot swap bays. It doesn't have front intake because it isn't designed for it, it is meant for either water cooling or bottom to top air, which is the setup I'm on at the moment.

If you are willing to pay for it, go for it, but you really do not gain a whole lot other than a LOT of space
 
Ive never owned a 800D, but I do own the 650D and it's a big mid size case and offers plenty of options. The options/features that both cases offer are about equal, but where it gets interesting is the prices. At a $100 difference in price, I would say that the 650D is a better option, unless you want to pay $100 more just to get a full size case.
 
I have built in both the 800D and 650D. For me the biggest plus for the 800D was the hot swap hard drive bays. I use them a lot when fixing others' computers. Cable management is slightly better in the 800D but not $100 better. If I had not gotten such a good deal on the 800D I would have gone for the 650D. Either way I can't imagine someone not being happy with either.

Have to agree, wish the 650D had it. But... the 650D comes with USB 3.0 headers/ports, which the 800D doesnt, but can be bought at Corsair's website as an add-on.So it's really no disadvantages for having the 800D except that it's $100 more. FYI, if I had the money when I built my PC, I would of got the 800D, what can I say...it's a beautiful case.
