Corsair H100

I have an opportunity to get an H100 liquid cooler from a friend, my question is this--is it worth the time/effort to remove my current Corsair A70 air cooler.

I replaced the stocker fans on the A70 to Noctua 140's, but is it of any benefit to swap units?

Anyone with experience with the H100??

I went from a Thermaltake Frio to a Thermaltake Bigwater 760 and my max temps went from 64c to 57c. And it's quieter, and looks cooler.

Doesn't really answer your question though.

Well the Frio is very similar to what you have now, the H100 has a larger radiator than mine, so it should have better cooling.

I like it a lot! I just cleaned it out of dust the other day, my temps went back to normal :) I guess that's what gentle typhoons do when you have lots of dust :o

i have the h100. I upgraded from the h50 to h100. my idle temps are at 19C lol i upgraded to a push/pull fan setup on the h100. great cooler IMO :)

I installed the H100!!!

I'm not sure how to test the temps other than core temp..and it doesnt send an error anymore..so i guess thats good...

Is this good?

I'm not sure about max temps. You'll have to ask someone who knows (or google it).

but do try IBT on maximum stress, it will test using all free RAM :)

I have been trying to make that decision H70 over the H100.

The answer is simple, bigger radiator/more liquid will help keeping temps down to allow for more OC. I'm dead set that i am going to try the H100 in my rig.

Let me know what you think of the H100, if you could.

Can anyone give an update in their experience with this cooler?

I'm looking at a new build, and I'm considering the H100.
