Corsair XMS memory

Ive got two of these already and was gonna go ahead and get two more so I can do dual channel memory on my build but wanted to make sure this memory didnt suck the big one or anything:

What memory do you have now? Are you using 2x 1GB of the same XMS memory?

Then yes that would work, but you should already have dual channel if you have 2x 1GB sticks of that RAM.

Well clear up for me, If I have 4 gigs (1 gig in each slot) is that the same as dual channel? Right now I have both sticks in the yellow slot. When I get the next two they are going in the blue slot.

That will be dual channel as well, but you only need to have two sticks of RAM to enable dual channel.

What are the benefits of dual channel as opposed to just having 4 gigs? Or is there any?

Theoretically it doubles the potential bandwidth.

I find nothing wrong with using Vista. Im not running slow, but I saw a good deal on that memory and decided to grab them while it was a good buy and go ahead and put them in since I would have to eventually anyway.
