Could I still get my MP3 fixed?

Hi,
My MP3 player just broke down some days earlier. When I connect it with a computer and try to open it, a pop-up window appears and says there is a problem with the equipment's I/O function. In such circumstance, could I still get my mp3 fixed except sending it to the designated repair-shop?

thx

I would have thought so too, but he talks about a window popping up. Maybe he's trying to transfer stuff over from his comp.

yes, i try to transfer some stuff from my computer, but the windows system prompts an error message says the I/O funciton fails. , what should I do?

Come on.... Try a few things before you send it in.. Try uninstalling the program, and reinstalling it (if no program then the drivers) Make sure the sub cord or whateverr your connecting it with is connected firmly!!! There is a connection problem. Does your mp3 player still work when not plugged into the computer?

thanks, Trizoy.
I could tell whether my mp3 player still works, caz It is a separated one: a hand control and a storage. The hand-handled control has been broken before, so I just use the mp3 for a U storage.
