Could it be my CPU?

Alright, i just got this build about a week and a half ago.

Phenom II x4 955 BE
MSI 870a-G54 motherboard
crucial 4gb 1333 ram
ATI radeon 4670 1GB DDR3 (1 year old)
cooler master elite 460w PSU

when i first got it, all my games ran smooth high settings 60+ FPS, now i have to put black ops on low to get 60, and mw2 i had to turn off Anti Anailizing and some other stuff. and on my PCSX2, Kingdom hearts 2 ran at full 60 all the time, now is getting below 40... anyone help me? thanx

I have heard others saying on these forums that Call of Duty Black Ops is poorly coded. It runs badly because of this despite good hardware.

Change anything between it running good and now? Additional hardware, loose plug, memory intensive background program, etc.

Not sure how you were ever getting 60+ fps with high settings on a 4670.....but.....

My only thought is make sure Vsync is off. Black ops MUST be run with Vsync off.

The other question, what resolution is your monitor? Were you running 1024x768 and then upgrade to a 1080p monitor or something?

alright first of all, i dont care about black ops...notice the other 2. im more worried about kingdom hearts 2 for i had 60 frames to start, and btw i have done nothing to this computer to change this, and now im getting about 30, and on black ops, i had everything MEDIUM (my bad) and i was getting 60 frames most of the time, now on low in heavy battle, i get 30 frames. an bad company 2, i really didnt notice a difference though.

i do have to mention that i am running win 7 32 bit with 4gb ram...im guessing if i go to 64 bit that will help?

well someone said that 32 bit can only use 4gb's total including vram, so that might make a difference in that case
