Could my laptop play games ?

I have recently bought a Hp G61, and I am just wondering weather the laptop will play any games, mainly (CoD; MW, WAW & MW2)

I was told by a shop assistant in PC world that it cannot play any games, and that if it did it would be like a slideshow with the amount of lag... However, i stumbled upon a post in a forum saying something along the lines of " I have a Hp G61, It's great really fast it even plays Cod MW at 30 fps"

I'd just like to know before i start frying my motherboard !!

It could play some older or less gpu-intensive games, but nothing particuarly demanding. What type of games to you like?

WoW and older Source games should work ok.

Well I love my Call Of Duty MW2, WAW and MW... Usually play em on my gaming rig though :/ hehe

try youtube man they got whatever you want on there. I say not bad for integrated graphics. You will more then likely need a low resolution with low details, but looks like it should be playable.

^ MW, just barely...MW2/WaW will probably have issues though.

Well I have just installed MW2 on the laptop, (it failed) It was like viewing a call of duty slide-show ! I don't think I'm going to bother trying any of the others, to be honest I didn't really buy the laptop to play games.. It would just be good if I could : ]
