Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Haha. That's funny as awesome as counter strike is. But I do hope they do good things with this installment
 
People on SPUF are raging hard that it's on consoles too. It makes me laugh. The game isn't even out yet!
 
I wish there was more info about it. Seems like a lot more info is just around the corner...ill be a little more interested to see whats new. Seems like theyre going to have to change up the gameplay quite a bit if theyre going to market it to console gamers. Idk, just seems like CSS was a sort of game that wouldnt be any fun at all on a console

That's very true. Unless they added a single player campaign, I can't see this taking off on console.

I liked that video. Kind of short and sweet and gives you the important details. I find it interesting that he points out a number of times that its not supposed to be a "CSS 2" but rather its almost more of an update to CSS. I think that might be a good thing since the current games CSS (and even 1.6) work well.
 
I imagine there isn't going to be much info about CSGO because there isn't much to say. Spawn, shoot people, arm/disarm (defend/rescue) bomb (hostages). It's the most straightforward and competitive shooter out there, and that's why I love it.
 
Iv not had the pleasure of playing CS, regardless of the hype.

But no ads is a sort of biggy for me so i think ill be giving this a miss.
 
Thats pretty much the reason iv stayed away, people say how much they have a blast but for me playing a fps game i need ads :/.

Theres few games that i think actually work without ads, fallout and left 4 dead work extremely well but there different kettle of fish to military fps games.

maybe i am just being pedantic and should give it a go.
 
If you want to play CS you need to put a lot of hours in... You can't just jump in and be good, you have to practice. I've played 1215 hours in CS:S, plus however many before they started tracking stats.

There are few games that work without it, and one of them is CS. Dude, just try it out. Source is $5 on steam right now.
