I just put CS Source back on my computer after years of not playing it. I downloaded steam and all that good stuff. I'm having so many issues trying to play the game that I just feel like uninstalling it.
Issues:
1. When I try to connect to a server, it will go through 3/4 of the process then my game will minimize, I pull the game back up and it's connecting to a different server than I chose. No matter what server I pick on it always goes back to the same "underground central" server.
In order to fix this issue I've tried restarting my computer. Clearing the server history in Steam. Deleting my Config file. None of which have worked.
2. On the rare occasion that I am able to get on a normal server, as soon as it gets to the server welcome screen the game will Crash. I'll get the typical "hl2.exe has encountered a serious error." Then no game for me....
Not sure what to do on this one...
