Couple of noob questions.

So I'm sick of my dull case and the massive amount of heat that it just keeps trapped inside, so I'm looking to get a new case without building an entirely new PC. So here's my questions.

First: Wouldthe stock Dell Dimension 4700 mobo fit into this case?

Follow up question: Assuming it does fit and everything works out, would the stock 4700 (no link) power supply fit into this case?

Power supply should work but I'm not 100% sure about the motherboard. I know some of the older Dells that used similar cases had very weird ways to mount the board. As long as it uses screws and not hooks of some sort, you should be fine.

*edit*
I found a pic of what should be the mobo, and it looks as if it might use screws. However, another slight problem may be the I/O pannal. If it's not removable from the original case, you might not be able to use one on the new case. It's not that this is required, but it does help with airflow and keeping the case cleaner...

I'd have to pop it open and take a look, but I'm too lazy atm. :P

So essentially, would I be able to strip everything from my 4700 out of the case, and put it into that one? I can post some pics of my 4700 if need be.

It should work... Again, as long as the board is screwed to the case rather than using hooks, I beleive the patterns should match. And trust me, it's quite obvious if it uses hooks :P

Go ahead and post pics, it won't hurt. Just to be sure the motherboard isn't mounted in some wierd way. But the the other one said, if the rear I/O panel isn't removable its not required. It just won't be there for "looks" and will have a few gaps.

Stopped being lazy and popped it open, and it does use screws. Anyone able to find a pic of this case minus the motherboard and power supply and such? Just so I can see how things are gonna turn out.

Bear with me on this one.

1: CD drive
2: HD
3: Mobo
4: Psu
5: Sound and video cards

Now here's where I get lost. Where and how do the USB slots and those kind of things end up falling in here?

Also, what's the point of the big open slot in the bottom right of the case?

No 2 is for things like floppy. That big open slight is for your hard drives. If there are any external usb's on the case you can attach them to your mobo if it has the right pin connector.

Any way to figure out if I have the right pin connectors and whatnot before I buy it? My mouse is USB so atleast one USB slot is absolutely necessary.

USB ports are located on the back of the motherboard, and potentially in PCI expansion slots around. The case doesn't need anything special for them. If your current IO panel doesn't come off, you can just take the IO panel off the new case and use it without one.
