couple questions about software

first off, keyloggers. Are they illegal to use on public computers. Are they easy to find and get cought eaisly. Are there any good free ones. Im not implying that im using one i just need some questions awncered about them

second off, music and video downloading. Ive heard from some people that you can download music for free legaly as long as you dont share it, but ive heard its illegal to just download it. I got a book that says theres a legal way to download music but its kind of outdated and it really dosent specifiy EXACTLY what i can and cannot do.

Using keyloggers in the way you suggested is illegal, as far as I know.

That debate has raged in many other threads, basically it is illegal to download music for free, sharing or not. You would be breaking the license and copyright, and the only way to get around this is to use a paid service.

Downloading music, programs and others are all illegal (If they have copyrights and are not free from the source. You can either use programs such as napster and pay for the downloads or move to Canada.. lol
