hello i m talim and i removed my floppy drive and mij DVD player, now there a ugly whole in my pc and i wanted to put a cover on the place where the floppy was. So i looked on the internet but i couldn't find anything to cover it.

I dont know the name of that kind of cover and i hope there is someone that can give me an site where i can find that kind of covers or maby the name.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, you would need to have kept the covers when you built the pc in order to put them back in. There are many different variations of these and would need the originals. If you know who makes the case its possible you could contact them to get replacements but if you originally had a floppy drive in it then its probably too old and they wouldn't have it anyway. Why are you removing drives anyway?

i wanted to put an new ssd card inside it. And my DVD player didnt work anymore so i olso wanted to remove that.

But can't i use a new cover from another computer?

Or maby a whole new font for my computer, are they selling that?

It depends on the case manufacturer. My Fractal Design covers won't fit my Corsair cases, and vice versa. But most Fractal Design covers will fit other Fractal cases (different models, same manufacturer).
I do believe most cheaper cases uses basically the same mechanism, but it all depends on your case.

Since drive bay openings are pretty much standardized for 5.25" and 3.5" drives, it shouldn't be too difficult to find a blank to fill the holes. You'll mostly need to find the right color (to match your case). Probably won't be a perfect match but will at least cover the gaping hole. Something like this should work: http://www.xoxide.com/lian-li-drive-bay-cover.html
