CPU and Motherboard Compatible?

I have a Soyo Dragon Motherboard that is about 5 years old and wanted to know if its compatible with a new CPU (AMD SDX140HBGQBOX). How can I tell? I am trying to get my computer working again for cheap. I have a 64bit version of Vista but it says its not compatible with my system. Help!

Yes that Sempron is 64 bit, but it will not fit a Socket A dragon motherboard. There are no 64 bit Socket A processors. You will have to get a new board, processor and memory to run a AM2/+/3 processor.
