Hello all,
I've put together my first PC and have all but completed the build. My motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 and has the following fan headers:
SYS_FAN1
SYS_FAN2
SYS_FAN3
CPU_FAN
PWR_FAN
PCH_FAN
I have the case intake and exhaust fans installed in SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2. My Thermaltake FRIO CPU cooler has 2 fans for a push-pull effect. My questions are:
1. Does it matter which of the 2 CPU cooler fans is plugged into the CPU_FAN header (I've seen it written that it is best to use the 'push' fan)?
2. Out of the remaining header options (SYS_FAN3, PWR_FAN and PCH_FAN), which header should I plug the 2nd CPU cooler fan into?
Cheers
