Hello I have a Cooler master V10 Cpu cooler on my i7 MB asus rampage extreme ll republic of gamers.

the problem is the cpu runs on max fan speed all the time sounding like a real v10.

also another question. Would a Noctua NH- D14 fit over/by my dominator ram? 6gb

also. Would ZALMAN CNPS 10X Performa Fit over/by my dominator ram? 6gb

does your v10 use a 3 pin or a 4 pin connector? if it is a 3 pin then it is not using the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control and it runs at max speed all the time rather than being controlled by the motherboard.

I have no idea on the ram...

Edit:
After looking it up on Newegg, I see that it has a 4pin and a 4pin molex. if you are powering it with the molex connector then it will run at full speed all the time.
