does anyone here have any experience with the ZEROtherm Nirvana? since i have never heard of this brand before looking on new egg, i'm skeptical to buy one. i currently have an 80mm version of this zalman cooler:

it works well, but is the loudest thing in my system. what i am debating against now though is this cooler:

and the above zalman. which one is quieter? and will they cool a Q6600 the same? thanks

i myself would go with he 9700 because I've only heard good about it and i like the brand name but im pretty sure that they would keep a Q6600 around the same temp. but for zerotherm, I've heard about them and heard good news about their butterfly coolers.

I for one would go with the 9700 :D

yeah, i'm leaning towards the zalman. i have heard that the backplate on the zerotherm can short out your motherboard, which i really don't want obviously.

I'm pretty sure the Nirvana is quieter. Also take a look at the Scythe Inifinity, it can be the one of the quietest heatsinks out there that won't break your pocketbook.
