Cpu Cooling

Just a quick question

Im investing in a E6600 core duo with the intention of overclocking. Im just not sure which fan cooler would do the job best as it seems every review i read theres something newer that hasn't been reviewed but not nessecarily better.

The main ones im looking at are

Coolermaster Gemini-II Six Heatpipe Cooler

Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme Cooler

if anyone can make some better suggestions please feel free.

If you don't mind a lot of noise then get the Thermalright and a Delta high-CFM 120mm fan. The fan will shift a lot of air. 190 cubic feet of air a minute at 4000rpm but outputting 59dB.

I'm going to try and avoid the water cooling as the words accident and prone come to mind and handling liquids around my pc is something i'd care to avoid.

However while on the subect is there a decent way to cool a northbridge on an asus P5N32-E Sli motherboard as i'm planning on getting one but I've heard that the northbridge can do with additional cooling despite the rather large copper heatsink sitting on it.

Thanks

Well yes, I forgot who but somene bought a fan for their northbridge and put 4 dabs of hot glue and it ran! Depending on the size of your northbridge, on mine the best fan I can get for it moves 10CFM. If you have a larger northbrige then you can probably get a better fan for it. And yes, I haev heard that cooling the northbridge can reduce temperatures. (on mine 2C)

Sorry for dlb posting:

I think ive heard somewhere of an non electricity conducting coolant... =) Oh yes, I saw a video that used vegetable oil for the liquid =):D
