I just built a new joint:
A8N-E + A64 3200
when I start the computer it give me warning that the CPU fan may not work or work nbut not properly. and then it says to press F1 to continue or DEL to the BIOS.

Is there something serious?

hey

did you check to see if you hooked it up properly?

its brand new right it should work?

the cpu fan goes into the 3 pin on the motherboard make sure you plugged that up right.

you may have pluged it up but it may not be in there good enough so id say open up take plug out power suppy and unplug the cpu fan and replug it

ok tnx i'll try..

ny the way, I just checked in EVEREST and the sensor shows that the CPU's temp is 35 deegrees C [97 F]. Is that ok??

That temp is fine. It's possible that your HSF is spinning at a speed below a certain threshold specified in your BIOS, particularly if it's an aftermarket unit. More likely the CPU fan has accidentally been plugged into a Chasis fan connector. It will still work perfectly, but will flag a warning that nothing's plugged into the CPU fan connector.
