im running a ruby orb fan on my pc i built its a xfx 8200 mobo with amd athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 5800+ with american megatrend bios and for some reason my cpu fan wont shut off.......like i run the computer and i shut it down then wait some time and nothing so i have to manually turn it off from the power supply im wondering if anyone knows how to work with this bios to maybe fix this

Like you mean the PC is off and CPU fan still spinning?
Usually there is a BIOS setting somewhere around Hardware Monitor to adjust CPU speed, like quiet/extreme bla-bla-bla. You will not find it in most DELL, Compaq and similar
But I think you would have to get rid of a few ghosts in your tower first

i have no idea what that means the few ghost part and i dont have much knowledge with megatrend bios so if anyone knows the exact part to edit in the bios to make the fan shut off at a certain tempt let me know i have also read that the there is a sensor in the fan that detects when the cpu gets a certain temp the cpu fan shuts off
