i am in the process of building my first computer. For practice i took apart my current desktop. When i reassembled it, the bios menu starts, and if i wait like 5 seconds, it says the cooling fan is not working, then shuts down. I took it apart again to recheck connections, i stripped the screws that connect the fan to the heat sink. I tried to tape it, now the bios menu doesnt come up, just says cpu fan not working. Its a socket A for a AMD Athlon 2.04Ghz processor. If i get a new heatsink and fan will this fix it, or is it another problem, like i reconnected the wires wrong, becausue i took apart every single wire. Note, the fan spins. Also for installation, is it actually necessary to lap the heatsink, thanks
