CPU Fan

I just finished my first build and things seem to be running smoothly with the exception of the CPU fan. I've read conflicting posts on this subject regarding whether or not the fan should come on at boot. Mine has yet to come on through the entire process of installing my OS. I have kept an eye on the temp though and it hasn't passed 34c. Does this seem normal? I would have expected it to come on at least once by now.

Problem solved. Faulty fan.
 
:eek: your heatsink fan was not going and you installed windows on it. What do you live in antarctica? 34*c is cooler than my cores with the intel stock cooler at 100% and arctic silver 5 thermal paste unbelievable this is.
