Cpu fan

Just a simple question. Do we need to change the original cpu fan provided by the cpu manufacturer, be it amd or intel if we do not overclock? Is it true that the provided cpu fan is just as crappy as eg. the computer case bundled power supply?

Uh-uh. Stock fan is fine even if you are overclocking. You just get better results with an aftermarket cooler. I'm using the stock fan on my overclocked CPU and my temps are 30-35c idle, 35-40c under load, depending on the temperature of the day.

the stock fan provided with the cpus are fine although i would remove the thermal pad and replace it with some artic silver 5.

You should be fine with the stock but monitor your temps under load and stuff and if they ever seem too high... you can always upgrade then.

I have an asus board so it came with software that tells me the temps and voltages of my cpu all that stuff... I'm not sure what other software would be best for it, but I'm sure someone else would be able to recommend something if your computer didn't come with anything like that... sorry
