im nube at all this stuff, so please bear with me. I bought a ecs n2u400 socket a motherboard. i put everything together and when i turned on the computer and went into the system properties, it said my amd athlon xp 3000 was running at 1.29ghz, when it normally runs at 2.1ghz. i went to amd's website to look for drivers and updates and downloaded them, but they didnt do anything. any help would be great. thanks

Sounds like you have CPU throttling or something in effect there... either that or your BIOS has the wrong multiplier set (usually for heat-safety reasons). The Xp-3200 is supposed to be 200x11 ... looks like you're running 133x10
