cpu inquiry

I'm back again :D
do you think this cpu (Intel Xeon E5335 SLAC7 2.0GHz 8M Cache 1333MHz FSB Quad-Core Processor Skt 771) will work on a intel mother board that has a intel celeron 1.60 ghz duo core on it.

Sorry for all the detail on the cpu in question but i don't know much about them and i just copied and pasted the one im looking at :confused:

Chances are it will not work. Socket 771 is server, and most celerons are not on server sockets. it is likely socket 775, not 771.
 
Probably not, as the processors are most likely not the same socket. Although, nothing's for sure until we know your motherboard model.
