Yeah but only to a point dude ... take chip rated at 200x13 @ 1.5v ... crank that to hmmm... say, 2.1v on the vCore and yer starting to kill the life of the chipdid you forget to finish that sentence?
Whether you increase the vcore or not will make little difference to life of you processor overall. You need to remeber that processor last a long time anyway. Lets take an extreme example
if a p4 2.8c nothwood, will last for 20 years without a hicup, and if overclocking it (not too heavily) will half that life (agian this is extreme example to say half is overestimating) down to 10 years, what difference will it make since the cpu will be archaic after 5 years anyway.

Haha .... yeah but anything past 0.5v on the Vcore (which OCers tend to like to do sometimes), will start putting a lot of stress on the chip hehebut really, how long are you planning on keeping the chip? most OCers will want to upgrade from time to time anyway. i don't think worrying about the life of a chip is really all that important. unless ya know, you're praetor, who tries to put his processors on steriods

Id be disturbed with those temperatures.lol... i'm still running the stock cooler , and with the maxium oc i can get with my system ( 2.303ghz ) it stays at 35*c no load and up to 44*c load, it doesn't get that hot
