CPU, motherboard and magnets?

Few weeks ago I purchased an AMD mobo and gigabyte mobo and 5 magnetic bowls.

The magnetic bowls are great for using anything with screws or small pieces.
I purchased 5 of them.

The checkout person at microcenter put everything into 1 bag. I put the bag in my trunk and just realized it was in the trunk.


Is there going to be any harm or damage from the CPU, mobo being placed in a bg with 5 large bowl sized magnets?

Shouldn't be.

Usually the main worry with that is mechanical hard drives where the magnets could impact the data stored. Otherwise the components on the CPU/MB are solid state and shouldn't be impacted.

I agree with beers on this. The only thing that would get damaged is if you had any data stored on hard drives in the same bag.
