I just built a new half of a computer (old parts for the rest) and I boot up for the first time. The first thing I always check on a rebuild is the CPU fan. In this case, it wasn't spinning. Panic, kill power, check connections. All my connections are good. I boot up and look at the monitor, ignoring the fan for now. It says that I have no CPU. I know for a fact that the CPU is in and in the right way. I opened it up anyways to double check, and it is all there. I took the CPU out and put it back in, but I figured I would post here before trying again. I will also find some rubbing alc and clean it off and put some new grease on it.
