cpu over clock

i have a p4 3.4ghz and im jus try to learn how to over clock any helpful hints this board is jus my trial and err. board so i can learn from it.

what i did with mine is i bumped my ram down 1, eg. 800mhz ram down to 667mhz ram.

Then i just bumped up the fsb, (i forget what amd calls it.)

do slow increments, say 3.5ghz first, then test it with prime 95 or orthos, and if its stable just keep going up.


EDIT: i forgot, that is the safer way, you can also increase the voltage on the cpu to make it become more stable, but you are going to have to get some1 elses advice on that...
