CPU Overclocking

Hello.. this is my 2nd time posting.. in the first post (desktop section) i did say i wasnt planning to overclock... but i changed my mind =D and this question might be too early to ask for me but i wanted to make sure that i bought the right stuff and if i didnt, i will change the product before the return policy expires... ok here's is my question...

I already purchased the Intel i5 3570k @3.4ghz (i found it extremly cheap some where... had like few dollar difference between the 2500k) and is planning to overclock to 4.4~4.3ghz so very basic overclocking...(hopefully)

But now I am worried that I did not spend enough on the motherboard (yes... i know motherboard is extremly important but this one was sooo cheap i had to buy it..) which is z77-DS3H by gigabyte... and i saw few reviews AFTER i bought this products which says you basically cannot or is very hard to overclock with this motherboard even with the lastest bios... since all my products havent arrived yet, if it is true i might just cancel my order and change to a better one....
and maybe if someone is able to tell me basic performance banch mark for this motherboard in relation to overclocking and general performance... thanks! =P

It should do fine, I bet those people used non k processors which aren't good for overclocking, it should be fine, all gigabyte mobs are good and that's not a cheap one really it's a great medium grade mobo. And 4.4ghz isn't a low overclocking but certainly not a difficult one. What cooler do you have? Also you may want to look at the overclocking insurance for like 20 bucks, overclocking voids the normal warranty.

CPU-Z

you can at least overclock it to 4.3 without problems with a K cpu.
Even if you have a bad mobo, my mobo sucks too, but I got it run on 4.9ghz without problems! Somethimes I do over 5 ghz for benches and it seems to work wel.

Oh.. thanks for the advice.. and my cpu cooler is cooler master hyper 212 "evo".. hopfully that will keep my cpu cool along with my case fans (dunno if i am correctly managing air flow tho o.O) and tbh i think even 4.4ghz is little too much for my usage any way so definatly won't be even trying 4.9ghz and that insurance.. is that possible to get it after u purchased and already installed the cpu? (havent overclocked or touched bios yet)

Thanks again for the help guyss
