CPU problem: help please?

Hi, i have an AMD 64 5600+ oc'd to about 6000+
it seams to be running unusually... when running itunes, msn and he internet, and it is using between 80-100% on both cores. (never below 60 even when doing nothing)
if it makes any difference i have vista.. Im sure it never used to do this much?
Is there somthing wrong with it?.. and if there is what should i do?

no, saying that there does seam to be quite a bit of dust in there.. normally the cpu was around 32-36oc but now its over 46. how would you reccomend to clean it?

Theres got to be something running in the background, have you looked in your Task Manager under Processes to see whats eating your CPU time. Plus have you done a Spyware and Virus scan. You do need to clean the dust out but your processors temp will jump if its running both core at 80 to 100%.
 
To clean the case/cooler, just take a can of compressed air and blow all the dust out of the case (With the computer off of course :P)

thankyou very much! i just had a look on taskmanager, windows sidebar was using 50% of my processor O_o .im not sure why as it never did before! it was also using 500,000k ram. im doing a virus and a spyware scan right now aswell.
the temputure has already gone down to 38-39. i am going to clean out the case tomorrow aswell.

thankyou very much! :D it was really starting to bug me as the computer was acting up aswell.
