cpu question, its an easy one

If you mean re-activate windows, probibly. I didnt when i went from a P4 to my AMD X2, so i dont know. It depends on the windows i guess lol.

If it's only the processor, you wont have to. If I remember correctly, Windows lets you change 3 hardware devices before needed to reactivate. So you can change your processor, sound card, video card, etc before having to reactivate.
